WHO ARE WE? We are a network of individuals and organizations developing and implementing wholistically focused, mental health consumer run programs and services that Advocate for Spiritually Safe Interventions through Supportive Teamwork.The ASSIST Network is composed of people who are not afraid to develop close relationships with consumers and who believe in the consumer’s capacity to recover because many of them have done so themselves. In addition to consumers, our network includes family members, providers and community members who support consumer run programs and services. OUR PHILOSOPHY The problems, which bring on the label of mental illness are complex interactions of mind/body/spirit which are unique to each individual.The pathways to recovery are uniquely defined by each person for themselves and need to be wholistic in scope. IT IS POSSIBLE FORPEOPLE TO RECOVER FROM MENTAL ILLNESS!!!
